It was my own puppy getting sick with parvo after only having him for 24hours when I was 19 years old that lead to my career as a vet tech. I had no veterinary experience/schooling but was given everything I needed to nurse him back to health at home. Knowing his life depended on my ability to care for him properly awoke a deep passion and guided my decision to become a vet tech. I went to school, passed my boards, and became licensed in Ohio. I worked in GP clinics in OH, from small 2 DVM clinics to large 5 DVM clinics. At the end of 2019 I moved to AZ and continued working in GP for 3 more years. During that time I also became licensed in Arizona. I then worked at an oncology specialty for almost 2.5 years and then switched to the ER hospital where I am currently working, with both clinics adding to my knowledge and skill set. I aim to treat all animals with the same care and compassion I would treat my own pets with. As well as treating owners with empathy and understanding.
