VetterCare Day Care provides attentive supervision and companionship for half days or full days at your home or at the VetterCare provider’s home. Day Care with VetterCare is more than supervision—it’s veterinary professional oversight, companionship, and confidence that your pet is safe and thriving.
Routine Day Care
Routine Day Care is for healthy and stable pets.
Each day is tailored to your pet’s needs and may include structured routines such as scheduled play, walks, rest periods, meals, and medication if required. We encourage pet parents to discuss daily routines and activity preferences directly with their VetterCare provider, so care can be customized to match your pet’s comfort, energy level, and routine.
You’ll also receive a personalized care report with photos, and updates.
Medical Day Care
Medical Day Care is for pets that are recovering from surgery or need medical oversight. The visit starts with checking vital signs (temperature, respiration, pulse). Services may include post-op monitoring, administering medications (oral, injectable, or topical), providing subcutaneous fluids, wound care, insulin injections, syringe or tube feeding, and monitoring vital signs. All services are provided under the written instructions from your veterinarian.
Other activities can include feeding, letting pets out, bedtime snuggling, litter box cleaning, etc.
You’ll receive a detailed pet care report with photos, which can be shared directly with your veterinarian upon request.
