Professional pet care tailored to your pet's needs
At VetterCare, every service is delivered by an experienced veterinary professional who treats your pet with the same care and attention they'd give their own. The difference between Routine and Medical care isn't about who provides it—because all of our providers are highly trained—it's simply about what your pet needs.
Routine Pet Care is for pets that are healthy or stable with predictable needs. This includes routine care (e.g. sitting, boarding, walking, day care) for well pets, or pets with managed medical conditions (e.g. routine medications).
Medical Pet Care is for pets that are recovering from surgery or need medical oversight. This includes post-surgery care, illness recovery, wound management, fluid therapy, or injections for unstable conditions (e.g., IVDD, diabetes, hospice). The medical care is provided under discharge instructions by the pet owner's veterinarian. The medical service provides peace of mind that comes from knowing your pet is cared for by someone trained to address, recognize, and respond to health needs.
By making this distinction, we are able to ensure that each pet receives exactly what they need. Whether it's an energetic pup who just needs a good walk, or a beloved senior who also takes medication along the way, you can feel confident they're in capable, compassionate hands every step of the journey.
